Verdita

A vibrant Mexican herb and pineapple chaser, traditionally served alongside tequila shots.

  1. Combine pineapple juice, cilantro, mint, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt in a blender.
  2. Blend on high for 30–45 seconds until smooth and vibrant green.
  3. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer, pressing the solids to extract all the liquid.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Keeps for up to 4 days.
  5. Serve in a shot glass alongside a shot of blanco tequila — drink the verdita first, then the tequila.
